Ordinary striving, extraordinary youth
Youth Day originates from the May Fourth Movement of 1919, China's anti-imperialist, patriotic movement. The May Fourth Movement was a thorough patriotic movement against imperialism and feudalism, and it marked the beginning of China's New Democratic Revolution. Colorful commemorative activities are held all over the country: young people concentrate on various volunteer and social practice activities, and in many places coming-of-age ceremonies are also held during Youth Day.
At BNSD, we marked the day by singing the Song of BNSD, taking part in this meaningful activity to spur ourselves on and keep forging ahead in the years to come.
