On the morning of 11 July, an industry-university-research cooperation exchange meeting between the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Qingdao University, Shandong BNSD Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Wanwu Engine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was held at the college's conference center.
Attendees included Liu Ke, chairman of Shandong BNSD Biotechnology Co., Ltd.; Peng Zhongjing, general manager of Qingdao Wanwu Engine Biotechnology Co., Ltd.; and She Xilin, dean of the college, together with heads of the company's relevant departments and teacher representatives. The meeting was chaired by Kong Fanlong, vice dean of the college.
Dean She Xilin introduced the university's situation - based in Qingdao while serving national strategy and local development - with a focus on the college's achievements in transforming scientific and technological results. He noted that Shandong BNSD Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Wanwu Engine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. attach great importance to activating new engines of enterprise growth through science and technology, and are committed to a path of high-quality development powered by innovation.
The three parties share a common development vision, and he expressed the hope that this exchange would mark a new starting point for win-win cooperation and jointly build a model of "innovation leadership plus technology empowerment".
In his remarks, BNSD chairman Liu Ke thanked the college's leaders and representatives for carefully organizing the meeting. He said that Qingdao University, as a key provincial comprehensive university, has strong overall strength and notable achievements in serving the high-quality development of the regional economy through scientific and technological innovation.
He also introduced the company's main business, with a focus on the fertilizer project it plans to launch, expressing the hope that the exchange would deepen school-enterprise cooperation, help scientific achievements bear fruit, and quickly realize technology-empowered, high-quality enterprise growth.
At the meeting, professors Wang Ling and Yan Dongyun presented reports on highly efficient preparation technologies and the research, development and application of related technologies. The participating companies then held in-depth discussions and exchanges on technology maturity, industrialization prospects and directions for cooperation.
Finally, representatives of the company's technology department and marketing center, having listened carefully to the proceedings, found their motivation to transfer and commercialize scientific achievements greatly stimulated. Both sides hope to accelerate the transfer and transformation of scientific results from universities and research institutes, further explore effective mechanisms and models, and strengthen cooperation with the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Qingdao University to explore market-based paths for the industrialization of scientific achievements.
